Does it seem like every Tom, Dick, and Jane has a tattoo these days?   Well, perhaps it does because they do.  So what is igniting this tattoo explosion?  Could snuffing out the fear of forever be fueling it?  

Twenty years ago getting a tattoo, regardless of the reason, signified a gutsy decision made for life.  Notorious of sailors, bikers and rebels with out cause, tattoos were permanent warning labels indicating a bold delinquent attitude.  But somewhere along the way something happened causing tattoos to get lost in translation.  

Today, tattoos are merely trendy stamps in the land of mainstream.  No longer perceived as audacious and edgy, it seems the impact of the ink has been diluted with technology taking the sting out of tattoo regret. 

The latest generation of “Inkers” has no comprehension of forever, as they only know what they want today, and have no regard for what’s to come tomorrow.  The mindset is if today’s tattoo becomes old tomorrow, there’s always tattoo removal to fix it.   So with the onslaught of virgin tattooees and newbie tattoo artists opening up shop, tattoo removal enters the popularity contest becoming increasingly more in demand. 

Luckily, tattoo removal methods are keeping with the times, evident with the laser technology advancements seen in the past 10 years.  Following the laser blazer trail is the recent introduction of Wrecking Balm, the first FDA in-home handheld device developed to safely and effectively fade and remove unwanted tattoos.   

With this ongoing increase in tattoo removal the tattoo business will continue to boom and tattoos will continue to become even more common.  As the market for self-expression and body art becomes more prominent tattoo removal will continue stamping out the fear of forever.
