Excision: Tattoo Removal Method

The tattoo is literally cut out and removed from your skin in this surgical procedure. The remaining skin is then pulled together and stitched leaving a scar. Excision is used to remove a small tattoo or a small section of a larger tattoo. A larger tattoo is more difficult to excise as several procedures and a skin graph may need to be performed.
